What's All The Fuss About This Armenian Genocide?

The Armenian Genocide, characterized by mass deportations, starvation, and all-out massacre, is estimated to have killed 1-1.5 million Armenians within the Ottoman Empire between 1915 and 1918.

Though it is widely acknowledged as the first modern genocide, Turkey refuses to classify it as one for various political reasons.
